Center Consoles

Valhalla Boatworks

Built for serious offshore.

A Viking Yacht Company brand built in New Jersey. Valhalla Boatworks center consoles are engineered to run hard and dry in heavy seas, with ventilated stepped hulls, premium finishes, and a meticulous build standard inherited from Viking.

About the Builder

Viking Engineering, Built for the Center-Console Era

Founded in 2019 and created, owned, and operated by the Viking Yacht Company, Valhalla Boatworks brings Viking’s engineering, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to the outboard-powered market. Its V Series of high-performance center consoles is built in New Jersey by the same boatbuilders behind Viking’s sportfishing yachts, spanning roughly 28 to 55 feet from the V-28 to the flagship V-55.

A Viking company

Valhalla Boatworks was founded in 2019 and is created, owned, and operated by the Viking Yacht Company, extending the builder’s engineering, craftsmanship, and attention to detail into high-performance center consoles. The Viking bloodlines run deep: the same boatbuilders behind every Viking are behind every Valhalla, backed by the strength of the Viking Marine Group and its subsidiaries. Service and support come from Viking-trained professionals, carrying the same standard that has defined the Viking name for decades.

The Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull

The V Series rides on a patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) running surface, a cooperative effort of the Viking Design & Engineering team and Michael Peters Yacht Design (MPYD). Double steps introduce air to the running surface to break the wetted surface, reducing drag while increasing speed and efficiency; the leading edges of the side vents usher air in quickly while the trailing edges permit an efficient release aft. The result is stability, handling, and maneuverability at cruising and high speeds, with the tunnel’s walls locking in the stern for a strong grip on the water.

Built like a Viking

Construction follows Viking practice. An engineered composite of fiberglass fabrics and coring is infused with vinylester resin using a vacuum to form the structural stringer grid that serves as the backbone of every V Series hull — a calculated resin-to-fiberglass ratio delivering stiffness and strength while minimizing weight. The double-stepped hull begins as tooling carved by five-axis CNC routers, giving Valhalla control of design and boatbuilding from the first foam plug through final assembly.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is Valhalla Yacht Sales an authorized Valhalla Boatworks dealer?

Yes. We are the authorized dealer for Valhalla Boatworks, which means factory-trained salespeople, direct access to build slots, and warranty work handled in our own service centers rather than subcontracted out.

Which of your locations carry Valhalla Boatworks?

New-boat availability varies by location: our New Jersey and Florida locations sell new boats across the lines we represent, while our North Carolina location sells new Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks and is a Princess Yachts America dealer. Every location handles brokerage across all brands. Call ahead before driving — inventory moves, and what is on the floor this week may not be next.

Can I order a Valhalla Boatworks built to my spec?

Yes. New builds are configure-to-order, which is why you will not see a fixed price on the model pages — layout, power, electronics and finish all move the number. Tell us how you plan to use the boat and a salesperson will spec it with you and confirm the current build slot.

Do you sell pre-owned Valhalla Boatworks boats?

Yes. Our brokerage covers all brands, including pre-owned Valhalla Boatworks hulls, and we list only clean, well-maintained vessels. If nothing suitable is showing today, tell a salesperson what you are after and they will flag it when it comes through.

Can you arrange financing on a Valhalla Boatworks?

Yes. We work with marine-specialty lenders rather than acting as a captive financer, so you can bring your own bank if you prefer. On vessels above roughly $150k those lenders typically offer 15- to 20-year terms that a generalist bank will not match.
