Matt Schad

South Jersey native Matt Schad grew up fishing with his father and uncle in Sea Isle City. At age 14, he owned his first boat, a 17-foot Boston Whaler.

After earning a degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s University, Matt spent a year working for his father in the financial industry before deciding to pursue a career in the marine business.

Matt joined Viking in 2017 as a dock technician, preparing boats for launch and delivery and recording data during sea trials. A year later, he moved into sales at Valhalla Yacht Sales. His experience boating and fishing in South Jersey gives him practical knowledge of the needs of local anglers.
